About Mike Vu

I am a technologist, a tinkerer, a puzzle solver, and a dog lover. With a diverse background spanning engineering, business, and liberal arts, I started my career as a consultant, helping my clients effect organizational change through the implementation of custom enterprise software. These projects helped me to develop the leadership style, project management mindset, and communication skills required to excel in my career.Through these projects, I also discovered a passion for user experience design, which I pursued as a part of the Master of HCI program at Carnegie Mellon University. There, I built up my design chops and led teams in the UX journey that is research, iterative design, prototyping, and development. Since graduating, this wide breadth of experiences has culminated in a career in Product Management. As the first and only Product Manager of Digital Guest Experience at the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, I get to innovate and design experiences that can only be found here. Every day is a new challenge and a new opportunity to learn and do something different.
