New Single line broad gauge Rail Link Btw Bhanupali – Bilaspur – Beri in thestate of Himanchal Pradesh, India.Bhanupali-Bilaspur-Beri new broad gauge (BG) railway line is an important development project. The new line\'s alignment passes across the Outermost Sub Himalayan and Lesser Himalayan Mountain belts for most of part. The proposed alignment runs through Punjab\'s Rupnagar district and Himachal Pradesh\'s Bilaspur district. This rail link is strategically important because it would connect to Leh in Jammu & Kashmir\'s Ladakh province.The starting point of this link, Bhanupali, is located on the Northern Railway\'s Sirhind-Nangal segment. NH no. 21 connects the project area in the districts of Rupnagar and Bilaspur. The Government of India has entrusted Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), a PSU under the Ministry of Railway, with the task of completing the 63.10 km long single line new BG Bhanupali-Bilaspur- Beri Rail Line infrastructure project in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh under the jurisdiction of Northern Railway.
