Our Mission: The Arc of Northern Virginia promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. What We Do: The Arc of Northern Virginia serves and represents over individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD)- autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and rare chromosomal disorders - and their families throughout the life span in the cities and counties of Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Falls Church.
