Technology has been a part of my life since I was in the second grade. I\'ve explored it from a consumer level to an innovator point of view to whatever I\'m doing with it today. I\'ve learned the hard way to fail fast and succeed when the opportunity arises. I spend my time perfecting my craft and making the most out of a situation with little resources. I\'m relentless and I\'ll persist with my eyes on the target until my objective is complete. One way or another, I have the knowledge of combining both book smarts and street smarts together to be a valuable asset to almost anyone. With industry experience through 7 internships (City of Tacoma, DevHub, Suplari (x3), HIT Lab NZ, Honeywell), I have realized startups are magical, leadership is everywhere, public sector has some crazy talent, the corporate lifestyle is slow, software has so many layers, hardware is a mathematical mess, research is useful for innovation, titles don\'t mean anything, the world has many different walks of life, and the universe is truly unknown. I\'m grateful to have had all of these experiences. Surely I\'m not done experiencing explosive growth in these areas and the new ones to come.My specific interests are broad, but I\'m passionate about space technologies and the ever-growing spatial computing world relating to Mixed Reality. Yesterday I was at IBM as a Software Engineer (Active Security Clearance) working on projects that impact the entire U.S. Army as well as the Defense and Space sector.Today I work for the Intelligent Creation Lab @ TikTok where I get to make video effects, audio, and creative tools come to life to over 800 million daily users.If you\'d like to grab a coffee and/or chat, then please send me a message :).
