I lead the Data Core (12 engineers) team at Domo, responsible for the systems that power all queryable data across the platform. Our scope includes:* Data ingestion APIs for high-volume, real-time, and batch data* Cataloging and managing data across cloud object stores (S3, GCS, Azure Blob)* Query transformation, optimization, and acceleration* Integration with external cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and DatabricksNotable initiatives I’ve led:* Streaming data ingestion using MQTT and webhooks* A unified credential store enabling reuse of credentials across product features* Platform-wide adoption of OpenTelemetry tracing and developer-owned Prometheus metrics* Improvements to ownership of quality. I continue to work to improve team ownership of quality on every commit versus relying on release validation happening outside our team with our release cycle.
