About Krish Gaur

Hey there! I\'m really into open source development, especially with the Drupal Association. I kicked things off as a Google Summer of Code participant in 2024 and worked my way up to being a mentor by 2025. Back when I was a participant, I put together this neat chatbot module for Drupal that hooks up with different AI frameworks. It wasn’t a walk in the park figuring out custom entity types to store conversation data, tying in external services with RESTful APIs, and getting the caching just right to keep response times under 200ms even when traffic spiked took some serious effort. Outside of open source, I also dig into full-stack development for real-world projects. Right now, I’m building dashboard systems for a huge hospital chain that’s got locations all over the globe. We’re using React and Django, and the big challenge is pulling together patient data from over 50 spots while keeping everything fast and compatible with their older systems. I’ve also got my hands in some pretty cool technical stuff. One project is an AI-powered job matching system that sifts through resumes and job descriptions with about 90% accuracy, thanks to a handful of language models. Then there’s this 3D architecture generator I built with Three.js - it runs at a smooth 60 FPS because we nailed the WebGL rendering optimizations.On top of that, I dabble in computer vision research. I recently published a paper on a real-time vehicle detection system using YOLOv5 and TensorFlow, and it’s hitting 95% accuracy out in the wild. That research experience really helps me tackle coding challenges from both a practical and big-picture angle. I’m on the hunt for remote gigs where I can build systems that scale up nicely and pitch in on open source projects that actually matter. Let me know if you’ve got something in mind!
