Thatcher is the author of The Twelve Monotasks: Do One Thing at a Time to Do Everything Better and the co-author of For the Love of Books: Designing and Curating a Home Library.In 2001, Thatcher turned his book collecting hobby into a business. The company curates book collections, designs and prints custom book covers, and offers over 300 special edition book sets.Previously Thatcher founded an online customer service company called Feedback Direct (later rebranded Cleartop), worked as Business Development Director for Digital Evolution (merged with US Interactive and went public), and was a Strategy consultant with Monitor Company.Thatcher invented the concept of custom printed book covers and holds a patent for for the \"Dynamic application of a design across multiple product packages.\" The work of Juniper Books has been featured in The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, Elle Decor, and many other publications. Thatcher\'s book, The Twelve Monotasks, provides a clear and accessible plan for life in the 21st century. Based on research and Thatcher\'s experience as a parent, entrepreneur, and cancer survivor, The Twelve Monotasks features practical tips and everyday exercises designed to help everyone strengthen their \"monotasking muscles.\" The goal is to achieve focus, resist distractions, and get more done with less stress and more happiness.

   Evolved a personal hobby (collecting and selling rare books) to become the most innovative company at the intersection of books and design. Juniper Books employs 20+ team members and ships to 60+ countries. We curate and design book collections for homeowners, interior designers, architects, real estate developers, retailers, visual merchandisers, co-working spaces and others. As founder & CEO, I perform numerous roles including Creative Director, Product Development lead, and head of Sales and Marketing. Currently looking to expand our management team. I have written two books, one about what we do - For the Love of Books: Designing and Curating a Home Library. The other - The Twelve Monotasks: Do One Thing at a Time to Do Everything Better - shares the methods I have developed to stay focused and highly creative and successful through numerous challenges. I am also a big fan of The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership and we use the book as the foundation of our company culture at Juniper Books.
