I’ve built my career on a conviction that operational excellence and human dignity are not in tension, they are mutually reinforcing. I have a track record of building a culture of trust and high performance, uncovering potential in both people and business outcomes.As CEO of The Synergy Company, a Certified B Corp, I held full P&L accountability while leading a transformation that was as much cultural as operational. I built lean systems that made work visible and reliable, implemented Open Book Management to bring every employee into the financials, and created the conditions for people to do their best work. The results followed — in margin, in fulfillment, in engagement, and in the kind of culture that is palpable at company gatheringsThat leadership approach was shaped long before any executive title. Early work in political organizing, community development, and wilderness instruction made clear that trust, clarity, and human connection aren’t optional, they’re the foundation. Those environments established something I’ve carried into every role since: steadiness under pressure, genuine care for the people doing the work, and a clear-eyed understanding of what organizations need in order to succeed for the long term.I left The Synergy Company in 2025. Since then I’ve been consulting on operations and culture, coaching leaders, and building a thought leadership practice around the intersection of operational discipline and human dignity.
