I am responsible for overseeing and delivering robust infrastructure capabilities both in the cloud and on-premises. My role emphasizes managing security services and responses for our internal teams, external customers, and partners. With a comprehensive understanding of security across various platforms, including network devices, antivirus, spam filtering, and SIEM systems, I ensure our infrastructure aligns with regulatory requirements and the company\'s risk appetite. My responsibilities include defining and managing secure configurations, utilizing tools and techniques to monitor and respond to security alerts, and staying abreast of emerging security threats and technology advancements to actively monitor systems for potential threats and attacks. Additionally, I oversee vulnerability and penetration testing activities, working with third-party partners as needed to identify and mitigate security weaknesses. I also develop and maintain IT security policies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity plans, ensuring all documentation meets the required standards. Creating and maintaining an IT security risk register, managing security services, and responding to third-party inquiries about security practices are also key aspects of my role. Ensuring quality control and assurance of all security services, continuously reviewing and optimizing security standards and processes, is essential to maintaining operational excellence.
