ABOUT THAO-VY

As a third-year student at Golden West College, I am building a strong foundation in engineering while preparing to transfer to a four-year university this year. My academic journey has consisted of my involvement in PUENTE, MESA, EOPS, and ASPIRE, that provided mentorship, community, career opportunities, etc.I am primarily interested in going into the field of Industrial Engineering. I enjoy exploring different ways to approach problem-solving in the real world from business & engineering perspectives. I would like to work in supply-chain once I graduate!Outside of academics, I actively seek out experiences that challenge me to grow from collaborative team projects, student support programs, professional development opportunities, etc. By Fall 2026, I will be continuing my studies at Cal Poly Pomona, where I look forward to honing my technical skills & broadening my perspective in the industry. My long-term career goal is to contribute to the advancement of manufacturing systems, making them both more sustainable, cost-efficient, and ultimately improve public health.
