About Thao Tran
I was born and grew up in a small rural area in Vietnam. That’s why I love the peace and the nature in the country side. I got my post-baccalaureate degree in Accounting with highest institutional honor Summa Cum Laude from Portland State University. I have been working in public accounting field, specializing in Tax for more than 3 years. I was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Epsilon Alpha, the international honorary organization for financial information students and professionals. I would love to share my experience in this organization to any students that are interested in accounting and finance fields. I was also a member of the International Student Mentor Program at Portland State University. I love being a mentor helping new students succeed and supporting them when they are studying at PSU.I appreciate all people who supported me in getting a great education and meeting people from many different cultures around the world. When I have free time, I love hiking, fishing, berries picking, and spending time with friends and family.
