About Thanvi
I am a recent B.S.–M.S. graduate in Biological Sciences from IISER Bhopal, with a strong academic and research foundation in molecular neurobiology, neuroimmunology, and behavioural neuroscience. My master’s thesis explored the role of Unc13-4/Staccato and Hsp40 chaperones in neuronal function and synaptic proteostasis in Drosophila, combining genetic tools, immunocytochemistry, and behavioural assays.I’ve also worked with zebrafish models to study neuroinflammation and social behaviour, gaining interdisciplinary experience across neurogenetics, behaviour, and molecular biology.My research interests lie in understanding how molecular and cellular mechanisms shape brain function, particularly in disease contexts like neurodegeneration and brain tumours.I’m actively looking for research opportunities in neuroscience or related fields.
