About Teri Halliwell

I am an avid writer, inventive storyteller, and hard-working professional with a commitment to exceeding expectations in a new role as a professional writer. I bring with me a willingness to work from the bottom up, a team-player mentality, endurance, and a robust skillset in research, editing, proofing, and, of course, writing! While completing my MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco, I worked full-time in a small variety of retail and banking environments to afford my living expenses, meanwhile gaining professional experience and amassing a portfolio of individual success stories (detailed in my profile below) that serve as a testament to my commitment to always performing at my best. Prior to relocating to San Francisco, I lived in Greece, where I attended the American College of Greece under the N. Demos Foundation Scholarship and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with the distinction of Outstanding Graduate of the Communication Department. Though unable to participate in an internship while attending either school, I stayed busy writing with writing assignments and countless personal projects, including my own website, “A Boutique of Nostalgic Memories” and a collection of short stories. I have an insatiable appetite for literature and anything to do with the arts. I am actively and consciously pivoting my career to a role in publishing, media, or journalism (or some combination thereof), knowing the challenges I will face, and am seeking an opportunity to grow within a reputable organization.
