ABOUT THALIA RODRIGUEZ

I am a Health Sciences student at Florida Gulf Coast University with experience spanning patient-facing care and healthcare operations. My background as a pediatric dental assistant strengthened my ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and support patients and families in fast-paced clinical environments.In addition to clinical experience, I have supported healthcare administrative and operational functions including insurance verification, explanation of benefits (EOBs), scheduling, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. These roles helped me develop strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both providers and patients.I am particularly interested in healthcare operations roles where I can contribute to efficient workflows, strong communication across teams, and processes that improve access to care and the overall patient experience. My experience across clinical and administrative roles gives me a well-rounded view of healthcare operations and how strong teamwork and thoughtful processes improve outcomes.
