About Taylor Gwynne
I am an educator and training professional with an MAT from Smith College and degrees in Politics and Psychology from Oberlin College. My experience in teaching, international development, and grant-making has shaped my belief that learning should be accessible, grounded in lived experience, and designed to help people make meaning with confidence.In my role as Assistant Director of Training and Outreach at SafeSport, I create learning experiences that help people engage with complex topics in practical, human-centered ways. I care about meeting learners where they are and building tools that support thoughtful questions, clarity, and relying on their lived experiences to understand new or complex topics.My background as a collegiate volleyball athlete and coach informs how I think about community and growth. I’ve seen how intentional environments can build confidence, invite curiosity, and encourage people to contribute in ways that feel authentic, all while accessing levels they didn\'t believe were possible.At the center of my work is a commitment to helping people connect their experiences to the issues they care about and to see themselves as active participants in shaping their communities.
