ABOUT TROY BROWN

As the Senior Manager of Quality Control Manager at Argenta Global I am responsible for and lead the QC laboratory activities. My remit includes; the inspection of incoming components and raw materials, Microbiology testing for raw materials, finished products and environmental monitoring of both sterile and non sterile production areas, Finished product testing and manufacturing line auditors. As a CDMO I regularly interact with clients, vendors and regulatory agencies. I have a Master\'s degree in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance from Temple University School of Pharmacy, and over fifteen years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry. My core competencies include developing risk management tools for vendor oversight, leading cross-functional teams for supplier corrective action records, performing remote and onsite quality audits of CMO/CTL vendors, and managing data administration for Veeva Vault and QMS. I also have experience in managing budget, team, capabilities, and deliverables, performing quality assurance review and approval of quality events, deviations, investigations, document and change control, validation documents, and construction/facilities maintenance activity plans. I am passionate about ensuring that products are tested and released according to applicable FDA, EMA and ICH guidelines, regulations, GXPs, and internal SOPs, and that quality issues are resolved in a timely and compliant manner. I am motivated by my team as well as the dynamic and collaborative environment found in our cross functional collaborations.Communication is another core competency. I work with each member of my team to ensure that we hear one another. I have trained everyone to understand it isn’t what you say, it is what is heard. Flex your personality and deliver your message with the right tone for your audience.I truly enjoy cross functional influencing through collaboration. As a QA leader, I can help steer cross functional teams to a better path. However, as QA you also have to listen to the owners of the process being worked on. We strive to remember that Quality Assurance is more about navigating the gray areas between the black and white letter of the law.I am willing to travel domestically and internationally about 25% of the time as my position requires.
