About Tom Crawford

Tom Crawford is a climate solutions advocate, senior consultant and trainer with over 30 years experience working with state and local government, corporate and non-profit organizations on business improvement, sustainability and information technology initiatives. He is currently working to shift priorities and business as usual practices in the communities where he lives (Thurston County, Washington) in order to achieve dramatic reductions in greenhouse gas emissions community wide. As a founder of Thurston Climate Action Team, Tom led a successful community campaign for local governments to adopt common science-based GHG reduction targets, and adopt a plan to achieve those targets. He is also a member of the Community Advisory Workgroup for the Thurston Climate Mitigation Collaborative, which was established to implement the plan.Specialties: Climate Change, Business Process Redesign, Organizational Development, Sustainability, Training Design and Delivery, Group Facilitation, Requirements Development, Project Management.
