About Todd Friedlich
As Director of Knowledge Management and Innovation at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, I lead firmwide efforts to design and deliver solutions that change how legal work gets done. My focus sits where knowledge, technology, and practice meet, from building AI-driven tools and low-code workflows to rethinking how knowledge is captured, connected, and shared across the firm.Alongside Knowledge Management and Innovation, I also oversee our Learning, Technology & Adoption programs, helping attorneys and staff build confidence with new tools and approaches. My goal is to make sure innovation isn’t just introduced; it’s used, embedded, and aligned with the way people work every day.With more than 25 years in legal technology, I’ve stayed hands-on throughout my career, coding, architecting, and building systems while leading teams that deliver real, measurable impact. I’m most interested in bridging the gap between emerging technology and practical application, turning ideas into tools that improve quality, efficiency, and client value.I’m currently completing the Chief AI Officer Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, focusing on AI strategy, governance, and transformation at enterprise scale.
