Tara is a dynamic trial attorney with a tremendous courtroom presence and strong writing skills. Tara earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, and earned an Employment, Labor, and Immigration Certificate. After law school, Tara served as an Assistant State Attorney, where she litigated 20 jury trials and more than 50 bench trials. Afterwards Tara broadened her litigation experience to include civil litigation, including, insurance defense, labor/employment, and commercial litigation matters. Prior to law school, Tara worked as a paralegal and manager working in law firms and under the supervision of General Counsel for more than 15 years. Tara is recognized in her field by being invited to speak on television, on panels, at events, and to write articles in publications regarding recent legal events in insurance claims, employment law, and electronic discovery. Tara specializes her work on defending premises liability, negligence, negligent security, PI/BI cases.
