About Tess Trammell

Hello! My name is Tess, and I’m an undergraduate student at Fordham University Lincoln Center. As an adventurous, open-minded individual, I’m always ready to embrace new experiences and expand my knowledge. I’m especially eager for the opportunity to gain firsthand insights into entertainment & media law and to learn from experienced professionals in the field. Aside from my passion for law, I also am dedicated to community engagement work. Throughout my time at Fordham, I have actively participated in two community engagement initiatives that have shaped my understanding of leadership, empathy, and the importance of diverse perspectives—skills I believe are essential for success in the legal field. While studying abroad in Paris and London, I continued my community engagement work, balancing this commitment alongside my academic responsibilities. These collective experiences reinforced my ability to think beyond my own perspective, work collaboratively in diverse settings, and maintain a disciplined approach to time management, which are all qualities I look forward to applying in the legal field.

   As a Legal Intern at The Davis Firm, I support office operations through careful record keeping and organization of legal documentation, including contributing to an ongoing file digitization project. I assist in preparing and organizing foundational legal materials such as retainers, letters of direction, and contract summaries to ensure accuracy and accessibility. In addition to legal support, I develop and curate a weekly office newsletter highlighting current events in the music industry, helping keep the team informed and engaged.
