ABOUT TESS RECHTWEG
Tess Rechtweg is a recent graduate from NYU Tisch, where she earned her BFA in Film & Television, with a concentration in producing and the business of film. Her love of filmmaking came from Tess and her dad watching classic movies together as a kid, and she hasn’t stopped watching since. Tess has been involved in the production of over as short 30 films. Tess is an alumnus of the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship Program and the Academy Gold Rising Program, has previously interned with Searchlight Pictures, Shondaland and Likely Story, and was producer Joe Pichirallo’s script researcher. Tess is inspired by the works of Jonathan Demme, Greta Gerwig, Rob Reiner, and Wes Anderson. You can usually find her catching up on classic movies, cooking and baking her favorite foods, or reading a book in the park. She hails from Long Island, NY.
