About Tess Hankin
I am a hardworking, determined, and compassionate social worker who is currently employed with the Denver District Attorney’s Office. I provide ongoing and comprehensive support to survivors of domestic violence who are seeking assistance through Denver’s criminal justice system. I specialize in high-risk domestic violence and sexual assault cases, and work with families of victims of domestic-violence related homicides. I continue to work in with many victims of non-domestic violence felony-level crimes to help them navigate their cases. I work in partnership with many community-based and law-enforcement partners as well as the Denver DA\'s Office\'s Family Violence and Behavioral Health Units. My work is based in trauma-informed and evidence-based practices, and allows for continuous growth and learning. My goals are to advance my skills as an advocate to better improve the lives of survivors and their communities, provide collaborative and human centered care, and improve the Denver community more broadly.
