ABOUT TESS CANNON
Originally hailing from Juneau, Alaska, Tess has studied and worked in education, leadership, and professional development for over a decade. As a Rotary Youth Exchange Student during her junior year of High School, Tess discovered the personal and academic impacts of cross-cultural exposure and exchange first hand. Tess graduated in 2010 as a Sullivan Scholar at Seattle University with a BA in International Studies with minors in Global Politics and International Economic Development, where she studied abroad in Italy, Germany (as a DAAD Undergraduate Scholar) and North Macedonia with shorter trips to Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic. Tess earned her MA in International Education at the George Washington University in 2016. Prior to joining CET/ATA, Tess was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, and worked at Amazon, Seattle University, and the George Washington University.
