I have contributed in all roles including engineering, program management, and business development to win and execute programs in Canadian and international market ranging individually $25 Million to more than $200 Million in business value. These opportunities required complex integrated mission systems comprised of a combination of procured systems and developmental solutions from North America and Europe, as well as, in-house design, developed and manufactured, solutions in the range 50K to 1+M SLOC including custom software, hardware, data security and encryption systems, communications systems, multispectral sensors, and armament for fixed and rotary wing platforms.Key Achievements* Developed new international government customers in Chile, Peru, and Portugal for Multi-mission aircraft programs* Developed new business line in the area of Public Safety with lead programs in Panama* Worked with team and partners to develop and win almost $300 Million of new opportunities in NATO, USA, Korea, Japan and Canada* Developed custom hardware and software solutions for the mission computers, mission data recorder and Ethernet switch for the NATO AWACS aircraft under budget and ahead of schedule.* Merged a collection of 14 similar solutions and their supporting teams into a cohesive Acoustics Product group based on a common core solution containing 1+ Million SLOC able to deliver solutions for significantly reduced cost and schedule* Grew a large development organization of 250 personnel in five locations in Canada and the USA, transforming the group culture to support a major and challenging software product development.* Developed new technical solutions to support major new business opportunities based on new technology, as well as, productizing current solutions* Improved the software estimation practices, product based software practices and product architectures within the business unit
