ABOUT TERRY JONES

I am Managing Partner of BDO LLP\'s Yorkshire and North East practice, responsible for leading our services to clients across the region. A strategic and commercially focused Tax Partner with over 30 years\' experience of advising entrepreneurial and quoted companies, my key areas of expertise include- restructuring & reorganisation - incentivisation of key management - exit planning for owners - negotiations with HMRC - succession planning for families - non-domicile planning - tax litigation - expert witness I have been Head of Tax in the region for 10 years and a longstanding member of BDO\'s Partnership Council, dealing with all aspects of the Firm\'s governance. A new economy is needed that is not over-reliant on any one sector or region but which makes the most of Britain’s talents, skills and entrepreneurialism across the entire country; an economy which is outward-looking and helps its home-grown businesses expand abroad.
