Terry Hughes is the Director of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for Primoris Rockford Corporation. With over thirty-five years’ experience in areas of Health & Safety, Quality, Security & Emergency Response, Terry has an established record of building a strong workplace safety and quality culture, providing leadership and strategy expertise that reduces the probability of HSQ incidents or serious near-misses that could result in personal injury, property damage, environmental damage and/or financial loss.Terry began his career with Primoris Rockford Corporation in 2018, directing the QA/QC processes for the organization and providing HSEQ support to project teams working in the field. Prior to joining PSC Rockford, Terry held positions as Director of Health & Safety for Spectra Energy’s Engineering & Construction (E&C) U.S. division for 3 ½ years, Health & Safety)/Mechanical Integrity Engineer at Valero Energy for 10 yrs, and Manager of Health, Safety, Emergency Response & Security at Valero Energy for 18 years. Terry has a BS in Safety Engineering and holds OHST and CHST certifications form the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and CIP–1 form the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. Terry is also a member of the Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCA) and serves on the PLCA Safety & Quality Committee. The Committee guides PLCA initiatives, programs, and actions related to safety, quality, health, and environmental compliance.
