He oversees annual operating budgets for the Programs Division of approximately $11 million. The Florida Bar is a unified Bar with more than members. Mr. Hill provides leadership and oversight for Legal Publications; Legal Specialization & Education, Mandatory CLE Requirement, CLE Course Approval, and Board Certification; Professional Development/Continuing Legal Education; Meetings & Convention; and The Practice Resource Center: LegalFuel.com and The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service. He also serves as the Director of CLE and The Florida Bar Member Benefits Program. Mr. Hill has been a member of the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE) for approximately 18 years where he has served as President, Immediate Past-President, President-elect, Vice President, and State Bar Director. He also served on the NABE Program Committee, NABE Sponsorship Committee (as Chair and Vice Chair), and NABE Membership Committee. Mr. Hill is also a member of the NABE Administration & Finance Section, NABE Communications Section, and NABE Government Relations Section. He has served as a committee chair, vice chair, and member of NABE committees. He has also served as a presenter at NABE meetings. He is a member of the Association for Continuing Legal Education Administrators (ACLEA) where he currently serves as a Director on the ACLEA Executive Committee. He has served as a member of an ACLEA Programming Committee, Nominating Committee and as a presenter/panelist at ACLEA meetings. Mr. Hill has also served as the President and Vice President of the Florida State University (FSU) College of Law Alumni Board of Directors. He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare (ESWS) designation. In 2013, he was named to the Fastcase 50 which highlights entrepreneurs, innovators, and trailblazers who have charted a new course for the delivery of legal services.He currently serves as Advisory Board Chair for the Make-A-Wish Northwest Florida Region’s Advisory Council. Make-A-Wish is an amazing charity granting wishes to children with critical illnesses since 1980.
