Directly responsible for all shipping and logistics operations for the Grand Prairie breaker and assembly plants, and indirectly for rest of materials operations with Materials Manager. Manage salary and hourly logistics staff of 17, indirectly manage additional staff of 42 across 3 shifts. Directed project to change out 22 vehicle PIV fleet and upgrade management software to iWarehouse from Speedshield in 2019. Directed and implemented actions to reduce freight spend 10% in 2018 during 10% growth in volume. Successfully planned and directed project in 2017 moving 20K sq ft (55 truckloads of inventory over 5 days) primary warehouse to new plant expansion with zero impact to production and customer orders. Study, practice, and mentor Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Siemens Production Systems 101, 102, and 103 expertise. Successfully lead Kaizen events, including improving scrap process, improving corner post supply including visual management of the process. Drove ITO to 21.8 for 2014, and achieved a 99% accurate Annual Physical Inventory for 2014, and improved to 99.7% accuracy in 2015.
