Four years into a post military career working for a defence contractor. I tell the satellites where to look. I retired from the Canadian Forces in 2021. Three overseas deployments, two commendations, and a lot of uncomfortable nights between then and now. Several interesting jobs - Assistant to the Career Manager for Ill and Injured Members. Twice in Standards at the School of Military Mapping. Unit Historian at Mapping and Charting Establishment. Principle writer of the Unit’s Annual Historical Reports for several years. Unit Public Affairs Representative and provided knowledgeable content for publication, which included an on camera role in a documentary about Canadian military map making in WW1. And that\'s only the last half-dozen years in uniform!
