Core responsibilities include enhancing the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) presence within manufacturing environments, reinforcing adherence to Life-Saving Rules, and embedding Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles into day to day operational practices.This position provides strategic support, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise to manufacturing sites, while also contributing to the development and implementation of targeted safety programs, campaigns, and improvement initiatives. These efforts are designed to address critical operational risks, strengthen risk mitigation strategies, and advance a culture of continuous improvement across the global manufacturing network.Given the unique risk profile and dynamic nature of manufacturing operations, the role plays a key leadership function in supporting operational discipline, fostering visible and engaged leadership at all levels, and enabling a learning-oriented culture. This includes partnering with cross-functional teams to drive consistent application of safety standards, promote proactive hazard identification, and ensure alignment with corporate HSE expectations. Through these efforts, the position helps safeguard personnel, protect assets, and maintain high standards of operational integrity throughout the organization.

While having the privilege as a Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Manager I have the responsibility for the implementation of our QHSE management system across all Weatherford business units, product lines, manufacturing, engineering, and product development groups within my geographical area. Safety and service quality are my first priorities while working across all areas of the business. I consistently maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices As a U.S. Quality Manager, I was part of a team that was responsible for ensuring our service, remanufacturing and repair facilities in the U.S. were in compliance with our Quality Management System, API 6A, API Q1, API Q2 and ISO 9001. This is achieved by being an assertive champion, diligent mentor and/or providing support to our managers, process owners, inspectors, and technicians so they support and maintain their part of the quality management system.My key role in being a U.S. Quality Manager was that of ensuring that our customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organization was meeting or exceeding customer expectations. This was constantly monitored through our corrective/preventive actions, process improvements, and external/internal auditing projects. I have a strong self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and within a team environment with strong follow up, organization and prioritization skills along with excellent attention to detail. Most importantly of all is understanding the financial – risk-reward – trade-offs in good project management in which I have a strong background in.
