I am a Risk & Control Manager seeking a transformation/strategic role to implement process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives that would improve business profitability and compliance.I grew up for the first 24 years of my career at Bank of America. This consisted of approximately 15 jobs during this time which taught me to quickly master a new business, learn from the experts and use this knowledge to fix things. This period was very much like an internal consultant focused on transforming various businesses such as auto leasing, corporate credit quality asset books, wholesale operations, consumer real estate originations fulfillment, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) operationsEarly in my career, I also was a consultant for 3 years working for a boutique firm in the Charlotte area, Parks & Company. During this period, I performed eCommerce work, largely focused on systems releases for BofA’s CashPro tool.The second stage of my career, the past 12 years, has been characterized by deep AML expertise, with a focus on AML Operations transformation. This has led me to several COO positions, and engaging with regulators, House Oversight Committee, talking with legal teams regularly, etc. I have a broad understanding of AML laws and regs, and internal operational procedures having written them for two companies. I have also created new workflow tools for the Operation, facilitating communication between sales, operations and even customers.These two career phases have provided a unique blend of broad,\"generalist\" training, as well as expertise in several functions including Operations, AML, Operational Risk and Process Engineering.
