Responsible for the strategic planning and continual improvement of the Infrastructure function as part of our migration to cloud, including organizational design, role definitions, and implementation approach. Function covers all elements of backend infrastructure including cloud tenant, cloud native services, servers, local and wide area networking, Wi-Fi, operating systems and core applications. Delivered measurable improvements to the service received by the business both from an SLA and customer feedback perspective. Transformation of on-premise datacenters to Azure cloud with significant cost savings as well as increased resiliency and flexibility & associated security improvements. Insourcing of key functions whilst retaining a handful of key strategic partners for limited defined services. Vendor management of relevant suppliers. Project sponsor or workstream lead on multiple business critical projects including transformation of IAAS services to PAAS services
