I am devoted to and excel in three areas—each area strengthening the others: electric utility project management; six sigma quality improvement; and leadership and mentoring engineers. Let me expand a bit on each:Because I am skilled in managing large utility projects, I am able to keep projects on time, within budget, while also managing customer expectations and building positive relationships with all project stakeholders.I am passionate about improving processes and seeking efficiencies using six sigma quality tools.I’m always interested in passing on my learned experiences to other engineers and colleagues by mentoring and networking.

   I manage upwards of 30 distribution undergrounding projects from design to construction for governmental and municipal entities. This entails engaging various groups such as design engineers, smart grid analysts, and a construction team of supervisors and field crews. I utilize tracking systems such as Microsoft Project to organize all of the tasks within each project and I use Microsoft Excel to manage a yearly budget of $10M. Since being in this position I have been able to meet the department budget and customer satisfaction goals. I also have used quality kaizen methods to create improvements to our processes as needed.
