As someone who has spent over two decades in the Navy, I’ve learned that effective leadership is all about adapting to change while staying true to your mission. Now at InnovaSystems, I lead a team dedicated to enhancing Navy Defense Readiness Reporting Systems. Our work focuses on delivering software solutions that not only meet but anticipate the needs of our defense forces. With a Project Management Professional certification under my belt, I navigate complex project landscapes using critical thinking and crisis management skills honed during my military service.My journey has been quite the adventure! In my current role as Software Portfolio Manager, I\'ve had the privilege of overseeing a $107 million Navy software portfolio that spans five mission-critical applications and employs over 100 talented personnel. It’s fulfilling to see our team’s hard work translate into tangible improvements in operational effectiveness for our armed forces.Before this role, I served as the Executive Officer of a helicopter training squadron where I worked closely with 522 amazing individuals. Being part of such a dynamic environment taught me how vital teamwork is; every success was a collective effort. I also led training for 1,500 pilots annually—this experience reinforced my belief in the power of mentorship and education.In addition to my work at InnovaSystems, I\'ve recently founded AccelCue—a company committed to helping small business owners automate their processes with practical AI solutions.
