I have been the Lead Coatings & Corrosion Inspector since 2015 and the Lead Dynamite blasting inspector on a major project in 2018: I have been asked to continue working after all other inspectors, including the chiefs, were let go for completion of construction and product had been introduced in to the lines. I stayed on as asked, to continue with the CP installations of deep well anodes and shallow anode beds, the instillations of the AC Cathodic protection installations, rectifiers. Working with the engineers and construction managers. During construction I work directly with the chief inspector & other management, along with the contractors management team to assign personnel to daily work locations. I have perform the documentation review of site specific dynamite blasting plans, the scope of work and coating procedures associated with the particular project to provide the inspection team and contractor with the proper interpretation of those procedures and specifications. I review the inspectors daily general and daily coating field reports for accuracy to help ensure the highest quality control and performance for the highest quality final product for the client. I travel to each inspectors location through out the day to offer assistance with coating inspection duties and provide management for the team. I also provide inspection of Cathodic protection/corrosion control, during construction of the pipeline.(CP) systems, to include the following examples: Test stations, foreign line crossings, anodes, SPL anode cable, deep well anode installations, permanent reference electrodes, solid state de-couplers, Zinc grounding cells, rectifiers, isolation joints, casings, casing vents, casing seals. My experience also includes line locating, one call system, pipe to soil potentials, ACVG,DCVG surveys, anomaly digs, pipeline current mapping, pig tracking, hydro-testing, conventional bores Horizontal directional drilling, and working inside of various refineries.
