ABOUT TERRY GRAY

Worked in the international development sector for over twenty-five years. Career has been primarily with NGOs, including short-term consultancy work with multilateral institutions, the private sector, universities, and NGOs. In November 2019, Terry joined Impact Bridges Group (IBG) as the Executive Director. IBG is a social enterprise that specializes in impact investing and has expertise in project investment appraisal, modelling and evaluation & advisory, and transaction structuring. He has considerable experience in impact investing and working with SMEs. He enjoys working with service delivery partners who are committed to continually improving development results. He has worked on innovative financing models that include results-based financing approaches such as social and development impact bonds.Terry continues to collaborate with colleagues from the Economics Department at Queen\'s University and has demonstrated strong support for the Certified Professional Impact Analyst (CPIA) Executive Course offered through the University.Part of his research is in partnership with the George Washington University on the Impact Investing Public Private Partnership (I2P3) for infrastructure projects in low and middle-income countries. Terry is working with academics and practitioners on new models of delivering much-needed infrastructure to communities.Most recently, Terry and the IBG team have become involved with the Ormond Center at Duke University on the Assets in Transition program. The program is a collaboration with places of worship, which are struggling with cash flow, to use their assets in a more innovative and constructive manner to meet community needs.
