ABOUT TERRY GRANT

Oversee, along with an amazing executive leadership team, Altabank which is the largest community bank in Utah; with branches from Preston, ID to St George, UT. Altabank is a division of Glacier Bancorp, that at its core, is focused on giving back to the residents and businesses in the communities we serve. I have enjoyed a rewarding 39-year career working/living in three countries and six states within the banking industry in executive and senior commercial banking roles. It is important for me to give back to the community and serve others through numerous non-profit board memberships. Proud to give back to the next generation through higher education, in being a Trustee at two different Universities and teaching Banking and Finance at the University of Utah. Strong background in managing all aspects of commercial banks; Creating and executing strategic initiatives; Creating a focused and engaged corporate culture; as well as running and being a part of corporate and non-profit boards. Knowledge of Canadian, French, English and U.S. markets and business practices.Serving as a corporate director on U.S. Translation Company (Utah); as well as the Board of Trustees for Westminster University (Chair Audit & Risk Committee) & American University of Rome (Chair Finance & Audit Committee). Currently serving on the Non-Profit Boards of Utah Banker’s Association, Living Planet Aquarium, Tuacahn Amphitheater, Intermountain Healthcare Foundation, and Junior Achievement. Past board memberships include: WHR Corporation (Wisconsin); World Trade Center Utah; United Way of Salt Lake; Salt Lake Chamber; Utah Manufacturing Association; Utah Technology Council; Intermountain Relocation Council; Envision Utah; Utah Foundation; Hale Centre Theatre; Utah National Parks Council Boy Scouts; Camp Kostopolus; U.S. Commercial Services Utah District Export Council; Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night; and the Association of Corporate Growth Utah. Past memberships in U.S. Global Leadership; Point of Mountain Chamber Executive Roundtable; and Utah Valley Chamber Executive Committee.Honored to have received an Honorary Doctoral Degree of Humane Letters from Salt Lake Community College, as well as being appointed by former Governor Gary Herbert to the Utah State International Trade & Diplomacy Commission; and to have received the Outstanding Eagle Award and Silver Beaver from the Boy Scouts of America.
