About Terry Godfrey
Security services professional with decades of experience in physical security systems, security projects and program management. I began my police/security career with South Carolina Highway Patrol. Moved back to York County SC, and helped lead the nuclear security program through numerous advancements over a 23 year tenure with Duke Energy. Before leaving Duke Energy, moved into Human Resources to support the nuclear plant personnel Access Authorization/Fitness for Duty team.Joined Childress Klein (Charlotte, NC) in 2002; as Assistant Director of Security January/2002 through February/2012 I provided direction for the contract security force for Wells Fargo properties, performed life safety training, and managed physical security systems contracts.Moved back into the nuclear power plant security arena as a Compliance Specialist at the VC Summer reactor construction project - Jenkinsville, SC. Ultimately service as Site Security Manager over all aspects of physical security, access authorization and fitness for duty.Served as the Ally Financial Security Operations Manager from May 2017 until October 2022:I performed various functions regarding banking call center & data center security programs while on the Ally Financial Enterprise Fraud Security & Investigations team.I served Securitas USA from October 2022 until March 2026.
