Define how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing that data in some way. Involves assessing business needs and evaluating business requirements and translating that information into specific technical solutions. Oversees the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions. Sets standards for the golden source and for consuming applications to inherit and advises users on how to access and interpret reporting solutions.
