Lead project delivery, and support other IT PMs, for successful project delivery, with focus on scope/schedule/budget execution with minimal variance. Create, implement and coach project managers on Amtrak IT project delivery methodology processes, challenges and mitigations. Accomplishments include development of a scorecard tool to assess IT project lifecycle/delivery governance needs based on project parameters and complexity; project manager staffing request tool; and assistance in rollout of a new delivery methodology across project management/SD lifecycles. Provide PMO framework support and governance to ensure accountability and quality control for Amtrak IT projects. Governance includes management and documentation around project phase quality gate reviews; evaluation and guidance in creating and maintaining Enterprise Project Management (EPM) schedules for project execution; and counsel and guidance in completing initiation/planning/requirements/design/development/testing/deploy/closeout project artifacts. Foster collaboration across Amtrak departments, including IT PMO, Portfolio Management, IT Finance, Corporate Finance for consistent, timely and useful project and portfolio reporting and tracking.
