My sister and I were the first in my family to attend and graduate from college, earning both a bachelor\'s and a master’s degree. Now, as the first in my family to pursue a doctorate, I am committed to expanding opportunities for future generations of educators and leaders.Currently, I serve as Director of Alternative Certification Programming for one of Texas\' largest public charter school districts, leading initiatives that support more than students. My team secured and managed $44M+ in grants from the U.S. Department of Education and TEA, advancing leadership development, teacher training, and career pathways.Previously, I served as a state-level literacy coach and project manager, spearheading the launch of Texas’ first LMS and its support center (Texas Gateway, formerly Project Share).
