It was an honor to be a board member of Makom Community and support their growth as an early stage to growth stage startup. When it became apparent Makom was going to scale our unique pedagogy to enhance the field of Jewish education, I was hired as the Director of Strategy. My role includes- Create our Development Plan and - Execute the Development Plan that includes prospect research, cultivation, the ask, and stewardship- Craft our story for community stakeholders- Perform grant research- Write grant applications and reports - Oversee implementation of all communications both internally to our afterschool families and externally to stakeholder and educators we support in the field - Project manage our evaluation plan- Lead efforts to scale Makom\'s mission by certifying Jewish Educators in Makom\'s unique pedagogy - Foster relationships with clients I coach- Facilitate Professional Development sessions for over 50 people- Drive database improvements and the migration to Salesforce- Support event planning- Supervise three employees
