Proud 12 step member since 8/13/97. I been blessed to have worked in the addiction field since Currently, I am the Director of Operations at The Hansen Foundation. I oversee the day to day operations, staffing, residents, & problem solving for both the Serenity Houses and Serenity Estates. We have a total of four Serenity Houses, one for men and three for women. The Serenity Houses are affordable, structed, sober living. They are managed by staff however staff does not live there. We have a 12 step philosophy, requiring all residents to attend 4-6 NA/AA meetings per week. We advocate and assist them in their individual needs, such as court cases, custody issues, job researches, schooling, doctors, dentist, etc. We also do random drug test/alcohol swabs, if anyone relapses we assist them in getting a safe place to go. The residents work or attend college, have cars, reunite with family, and go on in their journey in recovery. The Serenity Estates are our high end homes. There most the residents attend partical care or IOP at Enlightened Solutions or other treatment facilities in the area. We have 24/7 staffing, healthily organic food, residents attend AA/NA meetings daily, go to the gym and yoga. We also assist and advocate for them in their individual needs, such as court cases, custody issues, job researches, schooling, doctors, dentist, etc. We also do random drug test/alcohol swabs. If anyone relapses we get them to a safe place. Many residents move into Serenity Houses, Oxford Houses, apartments, or are reunited with their families.
