ABOUT TERRI ANN PARNELL
As Principal and Founder of Health Literacy Partners, I am fortunate to apply decades of nursing, management, administration, and leadership experience to help healthcare organizations implement sustainable health literacy solutions that enhance person-centered care, the patient experience, effective communication, and patient safety. My latest venture, TAP Wellness Coaching, combines this experience with my integrative therapist and wellness coaching credentials to deliver holistic wellness programs to healthcare professionals. Throughout my career, I’ve been a frequent speaker on health literacy, cultural competency, and patient education. I have diverse experience talking to audiences across many industries; peer events; local, national, and international conferences; and community service events. I am also the author and/or co-author of several books and have written or contributed to numerous publications, book chapters, journals, policy briefs, and papers.
