About Terrell Thomas
I have 15 years of grassroots nonprofit experience and advocating for those who have experience with the criminal justice system. I have “worn may hats” in my career I have been the gatekeeper, motivational speaker, marketing expert, grant writer, event planner, mentor, bookkeeper, data-tracker, recruiter…the list goes on. A self-starter who also has had to recruit partners and build consensus to achieve my goals, I am accustomed to creating and implementing plans. I have created campaign strategies for city neighborhoods to support the work of The Isaiah Project and have developed collaborative relationships with business and community leaders, city and state politicians and officials, and faith-based organization leaders to successfully work with people on causes that affect the lives of people living in the city of Pittsburgh. I am purpose-driven – wanting to help others make the most of their lives by connecting them to resources and helping them to remove obstacles.
