ABOUT TERRANCE D. CARROLL
I was the 54th Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives; the only African-American to have served as Speaker of the Colorado House. I served in the legislature from 2003 until being term-limited 2011. I\'m an opinion columnist with the Denver Post. I\'ve been listed by 5280 Magazine as one of the \"50 Most Influential People in Denver,\" My entry noted my reputation as a skillful dealmaker, stating that I am a \"critical and respected negotiator.\" Additionally, I\'ve been listed as Power Book Industry Leader in Law by the Denver Business Journal. I\'m an alum of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship of the German Marshall Fund of the United States. I\'ve also been recognized as Law Star by the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
