ABOUT TERRA MILEY
I am a recent graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County who studied Biotechnology & Bioengineering Chemical Engineering with a passion for Biopharmaceutical Engineering, research, and service. In Fall 2025 I will be attending the University of Delaware to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering. My current research involves conducting biosensors to be used in cell-free bioreactors through the usage of genetically encoded fluorescent proteins. I work in the Rao Lab at the Center for Advanced Sensor Technology at UMBC with Dr. Govind Rao. I am eager to engage in all types of research and gain more experience.
