Goudie was hired as a producer for ABC News after several years as a broadcast reporter in mid-size markets. She produced the show that made WLS-TV the number one Chicago newscast in America. Goudie was one of the first producers to work with Oprah and also went on location for crisis situations, political conventions and major civic events. She has also worked as a print journalist, writing her own newspaper column for over 15 years. Goudie continues to publish with guest columns and opinion on some of the most pressing issues of our time.
