Portfolio: https://teri.devI\'m an experienced full-stack software engineer and developer advocate with a passion for education, having recently completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Northeastern University with a focus on software engineering. Having planned tech conferences for more than 10 years before my transition into engineering, I\'m great at seeing all the little details in the context of the big picture, which translates well into the problem-solving challenges of web development. With a background in education, I love creating beginner-friendly blogs, talks, code samples and tutorials to help developers explore new technologies such as Progressive Web Apps.As lead maintainer and front-end web developer for ProtoSchool (https://proto.school), I worked to make decentralized web concepts more accessible through beginner-friendly, in-browser coding tutorials on IPFS and related peer-to-peer networking protocols. I directed the project\'s overarching strategy, including new platform features, curriculum development, and community growth for our local chapters around the globe. As co-organizer of a series of unconference tech retreats called Offline Camp, I was proud to support the Offline First community of developers and UX professionals who are working to democratize access to the web by making apps work under all network conditions.
