About Teri Marsh
I am a rail transit engineer whose passion for the transit industry stems from a desire to understand the fabric of urban environments and find solutions that provide reliable, functional transportation options to the community. My fourteen years of experience as a transit consultant include various roles in design, program management, and construction management of light rail and streetcar projects, from conceptual engineering through construction phases. Across these projects I\'ve led track design, systems design and integration management, and utilities engineering. This diverse project experience spans design-bid-build, design-build, and construction manager/general contractor (GC/CM, in WA) project delivery. I\'ve also emphasized sustainability, value engineering facilitation, program controls, and design criteria development in my work experience. In 2016 I graduated from the APTA Early Career (Emerging Leaders) Program, a national opportunity that strengthened my leadership skills and national transit professional network through sharing of best practices and dialogues with industry leaders and truly connected me back into the heart of transit projects. I also actively engage in the WTS Puget Sound Chapter (and previous WTS-LA), serving as the 20••••24 Puget Sound Chapter President after leading monthly program planning, mentoring, and annual scholarships and awards dinner event planning across both chapters.
